Biography

 

Professor Roy H Campbell is a professor of University of Illinois, and work in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Operating system, Security, Networking, Database and Information system, Parallel/ High performance computing, Architecture, compilers and parallel computing. He completed his Ph.D. in computer science from University of Newcastle upon Tyne, May 1977. His primary research area is Operating system. He got Pervasive 2012 Ten Year Impact Award, IEEE Certificate of Appreciation 2009 in recognition and appreciation of services and contributions to IEEE Central Illinois Section, UIUC National Training Standards for Information Systems Security (INFOSEC), 2003-2006, 2007-2010, Information Technology Committee to the Illinois Terrorism Task Force, 2002, 2003, Advanced technologies Group, Apple External research Accelerating Innovation Award 1991, Aug. 1982-Aug. 1983: Senior Visiting Research Fellowship at University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Science and Engineering Research Council of Great Britain, May 1981-Aug. 1981: Senior Visiting Research Fellowship at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Science and Engineering Research Council of Great Britain, Technical Brief, "Path Pascal," June 1982, Certificate of Recognition for the Creative Development of a Technical Innovation, Published in NASA.
